Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation (UX/UI, Branding)

Challenge

The Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation engages a global network of top-tier law firms to bring pro bono legal services to social entrepreneurs. In conjunction with its 15th anniversary, this small foundation with a modest budget wanted to update its marketing and online presence. The scope of the project included a 15-year logo lockup, an anniversary video, and a website redesign. In addition to refreshing the presentation layer of the website, they needed a modernized content management system. To deliver on time and within budget we needed to work efficiently, minimizing wasted time and resources.

Solution

We defined a work plan beginning with the anniversary logo lockup, content audit, and competitive analysis, building up to the launch of a fully revamped website and content management workflow. We used WordPress with custom post types and tailored taxonomies to create a workspace that made sense to them and allowed foundation staff, with little CMS experience, to integrate their offline process and requirements with their online presence.

Following its 15th anniversary year, we refreshed its branding with a refined logo and color palette aligned with its parent organization’s branding while maintaining a distinct personality. Below is a representative selection of the work.
